1. Take PSAT (optional and offered at RHS)
  2. Stay on track with your courses. Take advantage of period 9 and NHS tutors.
  3. Attend college fairs offered in the local area.


  1. Begin to pursue leadership roles in the extracurricular activities in which you are involved. 
  2. Explore career options. Use Naviance to complete the following inventories: Career Interest Profiler, Career Clusters Finder, and Do What You Are Inventory. Meet with your counselor to discuss findings. 


  1. Consider taking ACT Plan or ACT practice.
  2. Finish the year academically strong. Continue to show growth in your transcript. 
  3. Encourage your parents to attend 10th Grade Parent Meeting.
  4. Attend RHS College Night.
  5. Search for summer opportunities (part-time employment, volunteer work, academic summer programs, etc.).
