SCHOOL SPONSERED EVENTS:
Below is some information on school sponsored events.  Although the information below is not "PG18" related, it is senior related and we felt it was useful to include on our website.

Prom. T
he Prom this year is on Friday, June 1.  The Prom takes place on a boat, which travels around the Statue of Liberty. The seniors are gone from 7:30 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. There is a DJ and food. Seniors can bring a date (even if they are not a senior), but no one 21 or older is allowed. The seniors cannot drive to the Pier. They must either get a ride from a parent or guardian. Buses are provided and leave from the school. More details will be sent closer to the event. Prom is approximately $115 per person. It is a formal affair: boys wear tuxedos, girls get dressed in gowns or pant suits. Monday after the Prom is not a sanctioned day off! However, if the students are not at the 12-day risk absence rule, they are usually not at school!

Graduation.
  G
raduation is Wednesday, June 20.  Girls wear all white, boys wear white dinner jackets and black pants. Students will be measured for two reasons: they are lined up according to height and Biltmore supplies the gentlemen with jackets. There is a white closet of dresses for girls – details to follow.
~Tickets for Graduation
. Parents are given 2 tickets to the event. These tickets are for stadium seats. Other seats available without tickets are the visiting bleachers and standing on the fence. Chairs are allowed on the lawn. There is also viewing from a screen in the Little Theatre. This area is first come first served and a great viewing area for grandparents!

Graduation Tuxedo and Flowers. If you haven't done so already, please send in your payments for graduation tuxedos and flowers.  The total cost for boys is $62 and the total cost for girls is $30.  Checks should be made payable to "RHS Association" and delivered to the drop-off box in the main office by Friday, March 16.  If financial assistance is needed or you have any questions, please contact Dr. Schaefer at 201-670-2800 ext. 20569.
